Judit Héra

Born in Hungary, Judit Héra, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Budapest, and has travelled to far off lands to discover more about Yoga, and to explore her passion of photography.
The smell of thyme, rosemary and sea salt attracted her to the south of France where she stayed for seven years, met her partner, and after some travels in Nepal, Hungry and Indonesia, and with the birth of her children, she finally settled down in Leymen, France. For few years she gave art classes to children until she met Arno Stern, whose methods profoundly changed her approach and she opened her ‘The Painting Game’ studio in Leymen.
A chance meeting with a Chinese travel and yoga teacher, while traveling in Lombok, Indonesia, strongly influenced her and also brought her the revelation of the magic and power of yoga. At the time she did not know that this meeting with the yoga teacher and methods would influence her whole life and way of being, like a spark in the heart that begins to permeate the whole being. She became a regular student at Leymen Yoga Studio and also attended other courses in nearby Basel. Her yoga studies got deeper and profound under TJ Jackson, Nathalie Angly and finally she got her Yoga Teacher’s Certificate from SIYA International under Swami Mahesh, which has profoundly transformed her way of teaching and her vision of Yoga. She is in love with India, South Indian food, and the people, and plans to keep her connection and bring the right understanding of Yoga to the participants. She teaches at Studio Yoga Leymen since 2016 and also other studio in Alsace and around Basel.
